The Versatility of Drag n Tow
Customer had a rear tire shred trying to make it to a tire shop. Unfortunately didn't make it & car doesn't have a spare.
This customer wanted this Derrick truck turned around. Experiencing transmission issues, we stepped in using a tree to safely winch it where he wanted it.
This is the day this truck was purchased. My personal car was towed from Tampa.
Tow trucks don't just tow. This customer needed to flip & move this steel table he was building.
VWs can have a plastic oil pan, this VW Passat took a 60 mile journey with this truck. Unharmed.

It seems like a cheap way to get your broken down vehicle to the shop or home. But have you considered the possible price tag on damages that may occur? Newer vehicles need to be running to pump oil throughout parts. Severe damage can occur to drivetrain as vehicle is pulled down the road. But also, the vehicles tied together can damage each other, adding to the repair costs.

When I was a teenager, my car stopped moving when I tried to leave a red light. I pushed the car out of the roadway & called a family member for help. We fastened a heavy rope to pull me to a shop. Only a short distance to go, I felt my car bump around oddly followed by a thump & grinding noise. About that time I was passed by my own wheel. As I frantically blasted the horn trying to get the vehicle pulling me to stop, I noticed said wheel go across the road & disappear. Upon inspection, waiting on the tow truck to arrive, the inner axle broke way back at the red light, but luckily enough, my loose wheel didn't strike oncoming vehicles. (True story)
